Brian Brett Recipient of Community Connection Award
Our firm wants to extend a big congratulations to Senior Accountant Brian Brett for being an award recipient at Wenatchee World’s Progress Edition Community Impact Awards. The Community Impact Awards honor those who improve our communities through their work, leadership, courage and contributions.
The Annual Progress Edition from The Wenatchee World highlights positive stories. The Community Impact Awards take them to another level by allowing the community to pause and celebrate these recipients who are doing amazing work where we live and work. Brian received the Community Connection Award, which aims to bring people together through his work with the Wenatchee Valley Fire Department.
Brian is a 30-year member of the fire service in Chelan and Douglas County. He continued his education at Wenatchee Valley College and Central Washington University, obtaining a degree in Fire Service Administration and Accounting, followed by becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Brian has been serving as the Chief of Chelan Fire District 1 since January 2018, while the option of becoming a Regional Fire Authority passed by the voters on the August 2, 2022, ballot.
Brian feels incredibly blessed to be a part of the fire service in the community where he was raised. He continually expresses his gratitude for the mentorship he has received from his predecessors as the District expands to meet the rapidly growing demand for services provided by the Fire District.
We are incredibly proud to have someone like Brian as part of our team who not only cares deeply about serving our community but helping his tax clients through our firm’s mission to assist our clients on their path to success.
