Serving a Winter Meal at the Lighthouse
Recently, a group from Cordell, Neher & Compnay, PLLC spent a “cold, wintery, snowy” evening serving dinner at the Lighthouse in downtown Wenatchee. The Lighthouse Christian Ministry in Wenatchee provides meals, clothing, haircuts and a food bank service to those in need in our local community. Our team contributed homemade desserts and assisted with preparation, serving and cleanup. In all we served 65 meals. We left feeling blessed for the warmth of our homes and the good fortune of our blessed lives.
Did you know: The Lighthouse serves three meals a day, six days a week (plus brunch on Sundays) and averages 60 people for each meal. That’s over 1,000 meals per week!
