About
Melanie Garza joined the firm as a Senior Accountant in December 2025. Originally from Yakima, Washington, she now resides in East Wenatchee. Melanie earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Central Washington University. She is a tax generalist with experience serving individual and estate/trust clients, as well as those in construction, merchandising, FBA, real estate, and mining industries. Melanie enjoys the continual learning and challenge that come with tax advisory and preparation, and values the trust built through exceptional client service.
Outside of work, Melanie serves on the board of the Miss East Cascades Scholarship Organization. She enjoys playing piano, mountain biking, baking, and gaming. A fun fact: Melanie began playing piano at age four and trained as a concert pianist through college, performing in Germany and Austria as part of a collegiate music festival. She shares her life with her fiancé, Taylor, and their two dogs, Ares and Poppy.
